EdPuzzle Storyboard
Power Point, Canva
Time in Development: 10-12 hours
As an instructor, I wanted to flip instruction in a class and I taught myself how to use EdPuzzle, an online tool to turn videos into interactive quizzes.
I had several colleagues ask me to teach them how to use it. However, there was little time in the day to collaborate and demo the program in person.
Solution
I created the storyboard to an e-learning mini course keeping in mind the key constraints:
Time: Less than 30 mins total. I divided content into 5 modules of 5 mins or less.
Participants: Range from tech savvy to tech challenged.
Results: Must end in participants creating their own product immediately to be effective. I added reflection slides to pause learning and provide opportunities to implement.
Results
During development, I realized the process was too linear for tech savvy participants who may prefer to skip around modules as needed. I added a navigation screen with all modules in between each section.

When I began the process, I walked through each step and re-scripted. This resulted in an efficient and detailed narration, making the video development process much faster.
