Background of Project

As VP of Communications, one duty is to send weekly eblasts to members. To provide better content, I set up a monthly communications schedule, incorporated themes, and introduced a monthly Member Spotlight feature.
Solutions
Created a monthly schedule to highlight members, events, and local resources. This established consistency and variety.
Introduced monthly themes to highlight topics from member survey and provide focus.
Created new graphics for each event to balance visual interest with text.
Results
Open rates increased from approximately 20-25% to 35-60%.
Member satisfaction on survey specifically noted eblasts.
A how-to on using the New York City public library resources to access LinkedIn, saved a local business over $15K.
