Background of Project

As VP of Communications, one duty is to send weekly eblasts to members. To provide better content, I set up a monthly communications schedule, incorporated themes, and introduced a monthly Member Spotlight feature.


Solutions
- Created a monthly schedule to highlight members, events, and local resources. This established consistency and variety. 
- Introduced monthly themes to highlight topics from member survey and provide focus. 
- Created new graphics for each event to balance visual interest with text. 
Results
- Open rates increased from approximately 20-25% to 35-60%. 
- Member satisfaction on survey specifically noted eblasts. 
- A how-to on using the New York City public library resources to access LinkedIn, saved a local business over $15K.
